Wyoming State Requirement Details for Real Estate Continuing Education
The CE Shop has received approval from the Wyoming Real Estate Commission for the following courses through 06/11/10.
Every three (3) years, 45 clock hours of Real Estate Continuing Education is required.
· Licenses must be renewed every three (3) years by December 31st.
· 24 hours need to be in the following mandatory real estate courses: Marketplace Issues (8 hours); Contracting, Trust Account, and Closing (8 hours); Practical Applications (8 hours). The CE Shop does not offer the 24 hours of mandatory real estate courses at this time.
· Elective real estate courses are detailed above.
Immediately upon real estate course completion, The CE Shop will provide students with an electronic copy of the course Certificate of Completion. Certificates will remain in your account for a minimum of five (5) years, should you need additional copies at a later time. Licensees are encouraged to retain copies of their Certificates of Completion in the event that they are audited by the state. Please refer to your renewal application to determine if you need to submit your Certificate(s) of Completion with your renewal.
Real estate course completions are recorded with the Wyoming Real Estate Commission once a week on Thursdays. It may take 2-4 business days from the time we report your hours before the Commission updates your license and/or updates their website with the hours.
Please enter your individual license number correctly and fully when prompted in the registration process to ensure the reporting of your hours takes place. Wyoming license numbers are usually five digits.
